Ministry of Health Istanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital was opened in June 2010 considering the need for large kidney transplantation in the community. 

The first transportation was carried out successfully in a very short time. After the donation of organ donation works for 4 years, a new hope was created from Göztepe for the patients waiting for kidney transplantation with the establishment of Organ Transplantation Service. 

Ministry of Health Istanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe Training Research Hospital is the largest educational research hospital on the Anatolian side. 

A highly advanced dialysis and nephrelogy training clinic with 30 machines is available.

In the field of nephrology, sub-branch specialization training is given. In this respect, the hospital is considered to be one of the most featured hospitals in Istanbul. 

Kidney transplantation operations by "laparoscopic nephrectomy" method (closed method kidney extraction) kidney is done. 
There are 16 intensive care beds with ventilator in the intensive care unit of the hospital. 

Organ Transplant Service is a 6-bed, isolated unit. The rooms are single and all rooms have private bathrooms and toilets. 

Intensive care conditions were provided in the ward with patient head monitors in order to make the follow-up of the patients frequently.

In order to protect patients from infections, visitors are not accepted to the service. A camera interview system was established for the patients to talk to their relatives. In this way, patients can see their relatives through the camera and have the opportunity to speak by phone. 

Ministry of Health Istanbul Medeniyet University There is a large nephrology clinic within Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. 
Nephrology outpatient clinic provides service with 125 experienced dialysis and 250 transplantation patients. 

Although all examinations of the patients are completed within a short time without paying any fee in the hospital, the policlinic and emergency health services are provided free of charge to the transplanted patients with their experienced and experienced physicians.
